Behaviour Mentor – Leicester (LE8)

£430 – £475 Weekly Take-Home | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm | ASAP Start

Long Term Futures are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor in Leicester (LE8) to join a specialist alternative provision supporting pupils aged 4–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a resilient and passionate Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with behavioural challenges, helping them re-engage with education and develop confidence, emotional regulation, and positive learning behaviours.

About the Behaviour Mentor Role

As a Behaviour Mentor in Leicester, you will work in a specialist SEMH provision delivering a personalised and structured approach to learning.

The role requires flexibility to support multiple age groups and subject areas, adapting to meet the diverse needs of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCo, and parents to monitor progress
  • Create a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Support social and emotional development through positive role modelling
  • Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence
