Pay: £110–£125 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Long-Term | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Long Term Futures is recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly nursery in the NG5 area of Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences while supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.

You’ll become part of a supportive team that places children’s wellbeing, curiosity, and confidence at the heart of everything they do. The role offers the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Support children aged 2–5 years within a busy nursery environment.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Carry out observations and contribute to children’s learning journals.
  • Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Assist with personal care, including nappy changing and toileting where required.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times. These responsibilities align with common EYFS nursery practitioner expectations across UK early years settings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) – preferred
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
