Long Term Futures are working in partnership with an education provider in Nottingham (NG1) to appoint a motivated and inspiring Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in achieving their English and Maths qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to young people and adult learners within a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Functional Skills English and Maths sessions to learners working towards Entry Level, Level 1, and Level 2 qualifications Plan, assess, and track learner progress in line with awarding body requirements
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities and backgrounds Support learners in developing the literacy, numeracy, and employability skills required for future success
• Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance processes
• Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and positive learner engagement throughout the provision

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified and Unqualified teachers are considered
• Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths curricula
• Experience supporting learners to achieve qualification outcomes
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Passionate about helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their goals
• A proactive team player committed to continuous improvement
