Daily Rate: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Aston is seeking a committed KS1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a Key Stage 1 class, with a strong focus on early literacy, phonics, and building confident, independent learners from the outset.

The school offers a supportive and structured environment, making it ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to grow and develop.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities, including SEN and EAL pupils
• Use formative and summative assessment to track progress and inform planning
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with school policy
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
• Work closely with teaching assistants to maximise classroom support
• Contribute to phonics delivery and early reading development
• Prepare pupils for end of KS1 assessments
• Take part in staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives
• Support extracurricular activities and wider school life

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven KS1 teaching experience (ECTs considered with strong placements)
• Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
• Confident behaviour management and organisational skills
• Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
• A committed, proactive approach to teaching and professional development
