KS2 Class Teacher (Part-Time – Class Share)
Bingham, Nottingham, NG13 (commutable from Radcliffe-on-Trent, East Bridgford, Cotgrave, Carlton, West Bridgford)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale, pro rata)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Part-time (3 days per week), long-term temporary (with flexibility on working days)

Long Term Futures is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Bingham area of Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive teaching team in a job-share position, offering an excellent work-life balance with three days per week and flexibility around which days are worked.

The school is looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who can work collaboratively with their job-share partner to provide a consistent, engaging and high-quality learning experience for pupils.

About the Role

Working as part of a class-sharing team, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Working collaboratively with your class-share partner to ensure continuity of learning and pupil progress
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
• Assessing pupil attainment and using data to inform future planning
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Contributing to staff meetings, school events and professional development opportunities
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for a flexible teaching role within a supportive school community.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Organised, collaborative and committed to maintaining consistency within a class-share model
• Passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences
