Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham B16
Pay: £145 – 200 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours/Days: 8:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm

Are you a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher with EYTS or a Level 6 Early Years qualification? Do you have recent experience teaching within a nursery or Early Years setting?

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Edgbaston that is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the learning journey of young children within a well-resourced and supportive environment. The school is committed to delivering high-quality Early Years provision and values practitioners who can inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning through play-based experiences.

Your Role:

  • Lead a nursery class, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create engaging, child-centred learning experiences that support children’s development across all areas of learning.
  • Monitor progress through observations and assessments, using this information to plan meaningful next steps.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel supported to thrive.
  • Contribute positively to the wider Early Years team and school community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 6 qualification in an Early Years related subject (EYTS or QTS also considered)
  • Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teacher in the UK
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Confident classroom management and a nurturing approach
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
