Long Term Futures is recruiting reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join a welcoming school in Edgbaston. We have a number of long-term opportunities available, offering consistent hours within a friendly and supportive school environment.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and can help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Available Shift Patterns

All positions are Monday to Friday:

• 1 x 5:00pm – 8:00pm (15 hours per week – All Year Round)
• 2 x 5:00am – 8:00am (15 hours per week – All Year Round)
• 1 x 4:45pm – 8:45pm (20 hours per week – Term Time Only)

About the Role

Working as part of the school’s site team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting designated areas
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school
• Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous cleaning experience within a school, commercial, or similar environment is desirable
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic
• Friendly, professional, and able to work as part of a team
• Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
• Able to commit to one of the available shift patterns on a long-term basis
