Daily Rate: £110 – 120
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term role in a supportive primary school?

Long Term Futures is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with complex needs and an EHCP in a primary school in Saltley. You will provide consistent, individualised support to help the pupil access learning, manage their needs and make positive progress.

In this role, you will:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Follow strategies and targets outlined within the pupil’s EHCP
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning and communication needs
• Support emotional regulation, engagement and independence
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team
• Maintain a calm, patient and consistent approach

You’ll need:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN or complex needs
• Experience within a primary school or similar setting
• Confidence working 1:1 with a KS2 pupil
• A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
