Weekly Rate: £500 – £525
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role
Long Term Futures is seeking a patient and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ADHD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour in a welcoming primary school in Radford, Coventry (CV6). This is a long-term role with the opportunity to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with ADHD, SEMH, and behaviour needs.
Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a structured learning environment.
Encourage social and emotional development through positive interactions.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning strategies.
Assist with classroom activities and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge of de-escalation techniques, trauma-informed approaches, and behaviour intervention strategies.
Experience using positive reinforcement and emotional regulation techniques.
Previous experience supporting children with ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour..
Team Teach training (desirable but not essential).
Min 6 months experience in a school or SEN setting.
A passion for supporting children’s development and well-being.
