• Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Are you looking for a rewarding and active role supporting a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Long Term Futures are seeking a patient and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary academy in the Redditch area. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage Two pupil with SEN (ASD & ADHD), helping them access learning and manage behaviour in line with their EHCP.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, and/or at least 12 months’ experience in an educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD
• Experience managing challenging behaviour
• Knowledge of the Key Stage Two curriculum
• A calm, patient, and caring approach
• Strong communication skills
• A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
