Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham
Day Rate: £110 – 120
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 1^st of September 2026
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant looking to support young learners in Key Stage 1? This inclusive primary school in Edgbaston is seeking a reliable TA to work across KS1 classrooms, supporting learning and delivering targeted interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across KS1 classes
• Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions in phonics, reading, and numeracy
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Adapt resources to meet pupils’ needs
• Monitor and report on pupil progress

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent)
• Experience working in a primary school, ideally KS1
• Strong understanding of phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc, Little Wandle)
• Confident supporting small groups and interventions
