The School
Long Term Futures is proud to be working in partnership with a specialist school within a Multi Academy Trust. The school is looking for two teaching assistants on a Temp to Perm contract. The school proudly supports young people aged 11–16, providing a safe and nurturing environment for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs, including autism, SEMH, and communication or sensory processing challenges. Every pupil has an EHCP, which sits at the heart of a personalised curriculum delivered through carefully tailored pathways.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access learning, develop independence, and build confidence. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you’ll contribute to creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where every student can thrive.
At the school, they are committed to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed choices, embrace opportunities, and adapt to change. Their curriculum is designed to foster emotional wellbeing, meaningful engagement, and strong relationships, empowering young people to believe in themselves and their future.
