Long Term Futures is working with a highly regarded primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham to identify exceptional Teaching Assistants for September.

The school is particularly interested in candidates who can contribute across the classroom, support targeted interventions and build positive relationships with pupils from a range of backgrounds and abilities.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities may include:
• Supporting pupils during whole-class lessons and small-group activities
• Delivering targeted interventions in reading, writing and maths
• Providing additional support for pupils who require help accessing learning
• Working closely with class teachers to promote engagement and progress
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEN where required

This role offers excellent exposure to classroom practice and would suit individuals looking to develop a long-term career within education.

Ideal Candidate Profile
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Teaching Assistant experience welcomed but not essential
• Graduates considering teacher training are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, proactive and professional approach
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
